W e will be starting earthmoving activity this week in Phase 5 West located towards the Western sound berm utilizing scrapers and dozers. The activity will remove overburden to expose the gravel deposit and place the clay in the pit bottom where the gravel has been previously excavated. The North Calgary Water Servicing Project (NCWS) will construct a new 22 kilometre water feeder main and multiple support facilities. The feeder main and facilities will deliver 100 million litres (ML) per day of clean, safe and reliable drinking water to existing and future communities in northwest Calgary.
