Upcoming STAR Site Calcium Application - Sunday, July 19th

The June Calcium application has been rescheduled to take place this Sunday, July 19th. The dryer conditions of this month allow the Calcium application to maximize its mitigation effects.

With the arrival of warm weather, the STAR site will be conducting an early application of Calcium to major sections of the internal haul roads to aid in dust control.

The application will occur this Sunday, July 19th, to allow the Calcium to take effect before the return of internal truck traffic the following week. Once applied, on-site water trucks will continue their ongoing focus of maximizing dust suppression.
