STAR Pit Activity Update

As warmer weather is upon us and the BLV group has had a chance to capitalize on winter crushing to minimize production requirements on the Western side of the site for the reminder of the year. The BLV Group is moving a pre-existing crusher over 800m East towards to 85th Street NW. This plant will remain in this Eastern location for the remainder of the season.

To drive continuous improvement, this plant has been set up to be at a lower elevation than its surroundings. In addition, as it begins to mine gravel, it will create a ramp to continuously lower crushing components and heavy mobile equipment as the year progresses.
