Reclamation Grading Earthwork Underway

The STAR Pit has commenced grading and loaming activities toward reclamation of 12.5 ha (30 acres) of the pit area located along the southwest border of the site adjacent to the U of C farm and Rocky Ridge Road. This work is expected to take approximately a month working daytime hours with seeding anticipated in the spring.
