The BLV Group is scheduled to conduct a small routine blasting operation on the eastern side of the pit for Monday November 4th between Noon and 5pm.
Blasting is a safe permitted activity and will only be done during daylight hours as per the City of Calgary’s requirements.

Will you HEAR it? – There is a possibility that nearby residents may hear a sound like distant thunder, especially on overcast days.
Will you FEEL it? – There is a slight possibility. Any ground vibrations would be brief, feeling like a slight thump on the ground or in a building.
